Beth and I are going to Costa Rica for just over two weeks in 2010. Actually, we leave on December 27th out of LA and return on January 12th (I think). No solidified plans yet, except a list of things we want to do that includes:
Zip lines through the cloud forest
Seeing an active volcano
Hanging out with monkeys
Scuba diving
Exploring the less-well-traveled beaches on the west coast
NOT exploring the bigger cities (San Jose) as much
We're more interested in the outdoorsy stuff than we were in Peru, which is appropriate for Costa Rica I think. Beth needs to get scuba certified and we'll be good to go! I have to sneak down to LA so we can have a planning session sometime in the near future...
